    Combine
    Split and scrape vanilla beans. Add pods and seeds to water and sugar in a saucepan.
  2. 02
    Dissolve
    Warm over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Do not boil.
  3. 03
    Steep & strain
    Off heat, steep 30 min. Strain, discarding pods. Cool and bottle.
