How to make it
5 STEPS · ~5 MIN
- 01Rim the glassRun a lime wedge along half the rim of a rocks glass, then dip in flaky salt. Half-rim lets the drinker choose; full-rim assumes they want salt on every sip.
- 02CombineInto the small tin: 2 oz blanco tequila, 1 oz fresh lime, 0.75 oz Cointreau.
- 03ShakeAdd ice, cap, shake 8–10 seconds until well chilled.
- 04Strain over fresh iceStrain over a single large cube in the salted rocks glass. Avoid pouring the spent shaker ice — it carries shards that dilute too fast.
- 05GarnishLime wheel notched onto the rim, on the side opposite the salt.
