- 01Chill the rocks glassPack a rocks glass with ice while you build.
- 02Combine and stir2 oz rye, 0.25 oz demerara syrup (2:1), 3 dashes Peychaud's, 1 dash Angostura in a mixing glass with ice. Stir 25 seconds.
- 03RinseDiscard the ice from the rocks glass and coat the interior with absinthe. Pour off any excess.
- 04StrainInto the absinthe-rinsed glass, no ice.
